Frosty Fun at The Hive
Winter is absolutely magical in our part of the world.
During the colder season, we take a little hiatus from scheduled activities at The Hive Centre to enjoy birthdays, anniversaries, winter and the holidays with family. It's a special time to regenerate after a busy season and refocus on the upcoming year.
Our clients are also enjoying getaways to spend quality time with colleagues, family and friends at The Hive Bee & Bee. They are embracing winter and loving it. Take a look at the next article for ideas to help make the season memorable.

Winter Activities in Our Area

The Hive is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
Take a walk in an 18 acre Nature Reserve - right in our own backyard. You will revel in the silence and untouched beauty of the forest.
Enjoy fun activities like skiing at Brimacombe - only 5 minutes from The Hive. The Ganaraska Forest Centre offers low-cost day passes and memberships for cross-country skiing and hiking. You can also participate in a public skate at Orono Arena every Sunday from 1:00pm - 2:30pm.
Not interested in getting outside? Curl up with a blanket and a warm drink and enjoy winter from the comfort of The Hive Bee & Bee.

One of our favourite activities at The Hive is the experience of visiting our local shops and picking out a Christmas Tree.
This year we also visited the Santa Claus parade in the picturesque village of Orono. At The Hive, we are accepting of many cultural celebrations. At this time of the year we are enjoying many activities and traditions that surround the season.
