Spring Into Summer!
The endless rain of May created a lush and green environment at The Hive.
Our favourite wild plants are growing in abundance and we have been busy picking and drying dandelions, violets, goldenrod and stinging nettle for specialty teas and cuisine. Join us for our monthly Walk in the Woods and Plant Discovery to learn a little about the plants all around us.
Interested in gathering a team, family, group of friends or colleagues? Only a few weekends remaining this summer to reserve a full house!
See you soon!

Plenty of Local Attractions!
|
|
|
For a remote location, we are fortunate to have so many world-class attractions close to The Hive Centre and Bee & Bee.
We often welcome visitors from abroad (Japan, Germany, Chile, South Africa, US) who are visiting one of the many unique tourist locations in the area.
At The Hive, we make it a point to get to know the people and places that make up Clarington by actively participating in events, visiting neighbouring attractions, buying local products and eating at local restaurants.
We feel fortunate to be a part of the Clarington Board of Trade and are involved in several committees including the Food & Farming Advisory Panel at Durham College. We are also grateful to be able to learn more about how we can better serve our clientele by attending fantastic tourism events and conferences in the area.
Take a look at just some of the attractions and events in the surrounding area.
